Your kitchen cabinets are the focal point of your kitchen. If you have a theme running through your home, your kitchen will have to reflect that theme and must include cabinets to match that theme. Otherwise you end up with a kitchen that sticks out like a sore thumb. Decide on the style and material for your kitchen cabinets and take that as the springboard to decide on other elements in your kitchen.
Choosing kitchen cabinets are simply a matter of how much you can afford to spend. If you can afford to do so, always go in for custom kitchen cabinets. You have an endless variety of styles to choose from, and you can easily blend two or three styles to create the kitchen of your dreams. Materials are yours to play with and you can mix and match textures and paint colors to create a fantasy kitchen. If your budget doesn't allow for an expensive custom kitchen, choose from the number of stock options that you have. You might have a very limited range to choose from but they are more affordable. They are also easy to install as they come pre fabricated and only need to be fitted in. Another option could be a semi custom cabinet that has some elements that are prefabricated and are therefore quicker to install.
A cherry kitchen cabinet can add a glow and warmth to your kitchen that is unmatched. If your budget allows you to choose cherry, then it is the best choice you could make. If not then you might want to look into materials that are cheaper for kitchen cabinets like laminates or cheaper varieties of woods. These are also easy to maintain although they might not replicate the elegance of cherry. A Los Angeles, California area remodeling contractor will be able to give you elegant looking kitchen cabinets that are within your budget constraints.
Small Kitchen, thinking about remodeling, not sure what to do.

My kitchen is very small with old cabinets and fixtures. I would like to completely remodel it with new cabinets, countertops, sink, shelves, or whatever else will be useful to make the small space efficient and usable. This would also include new appliances, however the floor will remain in tact.
